Gerry has an extensive 15 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in both private and public technology companies. He has been involved in developing and scaling start-ups to liquidity events. Most recently, Gerry served as the CFO of Xplornet Communications, where he played a key role in building Canada's leading rural broadband provider. He led the company's financings and acquisitions and was responsible for raising over $400 million through high-yield offerings and private placements. Prior to Xplornet, Gerry worked as the CFO of TeraGo Networks, where he played a crucial role in building the company and led the initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Gerry has a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. He is also qualified with a Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
