I first experienced the healthcare industry in 2005 helping develop two startup companies providing and managing Audiology and ancillary services (Otonix, Inc. and Back to Balance, Inc.) to a network of Otolaryngologists throughout Southern California. At large, my responsibilities focused on business development, strategic planning and delivery systems, with specific duties ranging from program development, consulting, physician recruitment, and contracting. On a clinical level, I experienced case management by virtue of implementing a system focused on continuity of care and delivery of care to hearing care and balance disorder patients.I later found myself engaged to the inner workings of hospital administration from classmates in my cohort at UCLA's School of Public Health.
