Joel Perlman is the Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder of OakNorth, a lending platform that specializes in providing credit to mid-market businesses (loans of $0.5m-$25m). He previously co-founded Copal Amba, a provider of outsourced research services, where he served as President for 12 years. During his tenure at Copal Amba, the company grew to 3,000 employees in 11 countries and was eventually acquired by Moody's Corporation in 2014. Joel started his career at McKinsey & Company and holds degrees from Georgetown University and the London School of Economics.
