Josh Builta is the Senior Research Director for Applied Intelligence Pillar at Omdia. In this role he is responsible for leading a team of global analysts who produce insight on the AI, IoT, and Quantum Computing markets, and guides the team's strategy, research agenda, and commercial planning. With a rich network of industry contacts, Josh regularly provides clients with actionable advice to uncover opportunities. He has worked on topics from hardware components to connectivity technologies and vertical market use cases. Before Omdia, Josh served as VP of product management at Ingenu, formulating the company's product roadmap and guiding cross-functional teams. From 2010-16, he led IHS Markit's coverage of the IoT market and guided the launch of the first syndicated intelligence service. Josh's experience also includes advising senior government and military officials as a national security intelligence analyst with the Department of Defense.
