Longbing has been a professor specialized in AI and data science since 2009 and ARC Future Fellow at the professorial level. He is Editor-in-Chiefs of IEEE Intelligent Systems and International Journal of Data Science and Analytics, ACM Distinguished Scientist, received an individual Eureka Prize for Excellence in Data Science, and a PhD in Computing Science and a PhD in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems.He has been working on promoting Data Science and Analytics research, education and development since he was a CTO.
