I joined NBCUniversal as Executive Vice President of Human Resources in January 2011 and retired on July 1, 2018. I was responsible for Human Resources globally for the company, including compensation, benefits, HR operations, learning and development, talent acquisition, and pipeline programs. During 2017-2018, much of my time was spent on ways to ensure a respectful and inclusive environment for all employees, with an emphasis on women in the workplace.When I joined the company, I had to create an HR organization in the midst of changing ownership, leadership and strategic direction. Under my leadership, the HR team provided seamless service to NBC's businesses while designing & improving programs, systems and policies. During my tenure, NBCUniversal's corporate university, The Talent Lab, was launched, an internal Executive Search group was hired and a branding strategy to attract and retain talent was rolled out.
