Matanya Horowitz is the founder of AMP Robotics, a robotics company that aims to make recycling more efficient and profitable. He founded the company shortly after completing his PhD in robotic path planning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision at the California Institute of Technology. Matanya is notable for having completed four undergraduate degrees and a masters in just four years at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
