Michelle Zhou

Michelle is an expert in the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) called Intelligent User Interaction (IUI). She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, and previously worked as a research and development leader at IBM. During her time at IBM, she was responsible for the creation of several cutting-edge IUI technologies and solutions, including context-sensitive, multimodal human-computer conversational systems, personality analytics, and opportunistic crowdsourcing. Her innovative work has been incorporated into over a dozen IBM products and solutions, and she is the author or co-author of over 80 scientific publications and 35 filed or issued patents. Michelle's work has been recognized in the press, with features in publications such as Venture Beat, Washington Post, and MIT Tech Review. She is also the founder of Juji Inc.
