Mohamed Medhat Gaber

Mohamed is a Professor in Data Analytics at the School of Computing and Digital Technology, Birmingham City University. Professor Gaber is currently seconded as the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Galala University. Mohamed received his PhD from Monash University, Australia, with an internship at IBM T. J. Watson Research Lab, New York, USA. His PhD thesis was nominated for the Mollie Holman award for best PhD theses in 2006 at Monash University based on the examiners' reports. He then held appointments with the University of Sydney, CSIRO, and Monash University, all in Australia. Mohamed’s academic career spans several institutions in the United Kingdom, working for the University of Portsmouth, Robert Gordon University and Birmingham City University.
