Emoshape Inc. is a company founded and led by entrepreneur Patrick Levy-Rosenthal. He is a winner of the European Information Society Technology (IST) prize in 2006 for his work on a 3D interactive screen. From his childhood in Paris, Patrick has developed a passion for bio-inspired emotion synthesis. He moved to London in 2009 to pursue his ideas and research on the relationship between cognition and emotion, emotional responses, emotion synthesis, and the influence of emotions on decision making. Patrick has created a new generation of microchips called EPU (Emotion Processing Unit) that facilitates emotional processing in AI and robots. Notably, his technology is the first in the world designed to enable AI to feel the 12 primary human emotions.
