Var Shankar is Director of Policy at the Responsible AI Institute. An attorney by background, Var helps develop AI certification and assessment tools that align with responsible AI principles, laws, and best practices. He is a Co-Instructor of Kaggle's AI Ethics course. Var previously practiced law at Cravath's office in New York and worked on the Clinton Global Initiative. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School.
