Wei Wu is a former Instructor at Stanford and a biomedical engineer with a deep expertise in the fields of electroencephalogram (EEG) signal processing and artificial intelligence (AI). He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Tsinghua University and is known for his invention of AI methods, which have provided breakthrough insights into treatment-relevant brain biomarker signatures. Wei has worked extensively with Amit Etkin at Stanford, where he built out Alto's AI infrastructure and drives its algorithm development. He also has research experience with the Neuroscience Statistics Lab in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
