Prof. Peter Damm, MD, DMSc, is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Head of the Center for Pregnant Women with Diabetes at Rigshospitalet. Peter Damm is a professor at the University of Copenhagen and has been involved in using AI to develop predictive models for gestational diabetes and its complications. He has been working clinically and scientifically in the field diabetes and pregnancy for more than 25 years, since 2008 as professor at the University of Copenhagen. He is a Member and previous Chairman of Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group (DPSG) of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and Member of the writing group working on new guidelines for definition of GDM (IADPSG).
