His work established a common media system with high test/retest reliability, vital for commercial applications. With a Ph.D. from MIT in Chemistry, Dr. Hickman is a Fellow and Board Member of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineers (AIMBE), and his contributions encompass numerous patents, publications, presentations, and chapters in the field of biomedical engineering.
