Simon Eickhoff is a full professor and director of the Institute for Systems Neuroscience at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf and since 2018 also the director of the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-7, Brain and Behaviour) at the Forschungszentrum Jülich. He is furthermore a visiting professor at the Chinese Academy of Science Institute of Automation. He is recognized for his influential contributions to the field of neuroimaging and brain mapping. His research focuses on understanding the structural and functional organization of the human brain using advanced imaging techniques and computational methods.
