Jeffrey Brewer is the founder and CEO of Bigfoot Biomedical. Since his son’s diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in 2002, Jeffrey has been a thought leader and influencer in the diabetes community. He started as a philanthropist, funding and launching the Artificial Pancreas Project in partnership with JDRF Intl. He later served as JDRF’s CEO, where he established partnerships with the industry to drive innovation in medical devices for diabetes. Jeffrey played a key role in spearheading US regulatory reform and elevating JDRF’s strategic priorities, which now encompass healthcare policy, reimbursement, and technology access. Prior to his work in diabetes, Jeffrey was an active entrepreneur who founded and led highly successful dot-com start-ups, including CitySearch and Overture / GoTo.com.
