Dr. Lori Laffel is a Professor of Pediatrics at Joslin Diabetes Center, where she serves as a Senior Investigator and Chief of the Pediatric, Adolescent, and Young Adult Section. She also holds the position of Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Laffel's research and clinical focus involve preventing complications in type 1 diabetes patients and ensuring their overall health and quality of life. She has led significant growth in the Joslin Clinic Pediatric, Adolescent, and Young Adult Section, integrating research with clinical care.
