Marla, a passionate T1D advocate, became deeply involved in the diabetes community after her two sons were diagnosed with the condition. Over the past 25 years, she has invested in and supported various companies and organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those with diabetes. Marla's contributions include angel investing, strategic partnerships, marketing initiatives, and serving as Executive Producer of the documentary "The Human Trial," which emphasizes the importance of cure-focused diabetes research. She is also a Board Observer for Beyond Type 1 and volunteers for the JDRF.
