Chris is the Chief Oncology Research & Development (ORD) Officer and Executive Vice President at Pfizer, leading the entire Oncology organization from drug discovery to approval. He previously founded and directed the UCL Cancer Institute and holds a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research. With extensive experience in medical oncology and a background in cancer biology, tumor virology, and experimental cancer medicine, Chris has published over 150 influential articles. Under his leadership at Pfizer, his team has successfully developed numerous cancer medicines, including those with breakthrough therapy designations and Companion Diagnostics, striving to bring breakthrough treatments to cancer patients.
