Dr. Peoples, with 30 years of military service as a surgeon and research scientist, is the Founder and Director of the Cancer Vaccine Development Program (CVDP), dedicated to cancer vaccine discovery, development, and clinical testing for over two decades. He's led the licensing of four commercial cancer vaccines and now heads Cancer Insight, LLC, a cancer immunotherapy CRO for Phase 1 and 2 trials. As Professor of Surgery at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and Adjunct Professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center, his impactful career includes roles as Chair of Cancer Care Program and Military Director of the U.S. Military Cancer Institute. He holds degrees from the U.S. Military Academy and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, with training from Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and MDACC.
