Zahi A. Fayad, PhD, is the Lucy G. Moses Professor of Medical Imaging and Bioengineering at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is renowned for his research in cardiovascular disease detection and prevention, multimodality biomedical imaging, and nanomedicine. As the Director of the BioMedical Engineering and Imaging Institute, his work spans areas such as psychosocial stress, nanobiologics, and large-scale imaging data repositories.
