Russ Altman is a Professor of Bioengineering, Genetics, Medicine, and Computer Science at Stanford University. His primary research interests are in the application of computing (AI, data science and informatics) to problems relevant to medicine. Dr. Altman's research focuses on using computational methods, including AI, to predict and understand drug responses and biomarker discovery.
