Sylvia Plevritis is a Professor of Radiology at Stanford University and leads the Stanford Functional Imaging in Precision Medicine (FIPM) group. She leads a systems biology cancer research program that bridges genomics, biocomputation, imaging and population sciences to decipher properties of cancer progression to guide advances in early detection and treatment response. Her work involves the development of biomarkers for early cancer detection and personalized treatment using AI and imaging techniques.
