Dr. Daniel Marcus is the Director of the Washington University Center for Translational Informatics and leads efforts in integrating AI and informatics for biomarker discovery from medical imaging data.Dr. Marcus has expertise in imaging informatics, including the development of data management systems, ontologies, and visualization tools. His laboratory develops and supports the XNAT imaging informatics platform, a widely used system for managing imaging and related data. Dr. Marcus is a vocal advocate for open data sharing, which he practices through the Human Connectome Project, OASIS, and XNAT Central. At Flywheel, he leads product, engineering, and R&D.
