The Scottish National Investment Bank is a Scottish state-owned investment and national development bank. It is based in Edinburgh and is intended to deliver infrastructure development and strategic investments. The bank is a public corporation, with the only shareholder being the Scottish Government. It will be a public body but will operate commercially and be operationally and administratively independent from government.
