Using enzymes and electrochemistry Luas Diagnostics has adapted the sensor in glucose monitors to quantify analytes of interest. Luas Diagnostics is developing rapid, quantitative and easy to use point-of-care tests for monitoring the levels of therapeutic drugs in a finger stick blood sample. Measurement of drugs levels is by electrochemistry using a lost cost meter which is blue tooth enabled and transmits the results to a smartphone App and a secure cloud for access by health care professionals. Luas Diagnostics is focussed on those applications benefitting from simple, rapid, remote testing.
