Rekabet Kurumu is the Turkish Competition Authority whose main mission is to establish, protect, and develop a competitive environment. They aim to monitor and regulate markets to prevent anti-competitive agreements, abuses of dominant position, and mergers and acquisitions that would decrease competition significantly. Additionally, they work towards spreading competition culture and ensuring that public decisions are taken with a competitive mindset. They also conduct studies in competition law, economics, and politics, and develop policies to contribute to the creation of macroeconomic policies related to competition policy.
