Posic is a privately-owned Swiss company that specializes in the development, production, marketing, and sales of miniature inductive position sensors based on their coil-on-chip technology. They provide complete position sensing solutions for motion control and mechatronic applications, serving markets such as industrial automation, medical devices, automotive, robotics, instrumentation, machine-tools, laboratory automation, etc. Their products include miniature inductive encoder kits, linear encoder chips, and rotary encoder chips that measure linear or rotary position. The company was founded in April 2001 as a spin-off from CSEM. Posic has not raised any funding rounds yet.
