World Ethical Data Forum (WEDF) Companies

The World Ethical Data Forum was launched in 2018 to bring together a range of thought leaders from around the world to discuss subjects from privacy and algorithmic bias, to cybersecurity, media freedoms, and civil liberties. By addressing such pressing issues, and by encouraging dialogue and global collaboration between the seemingly competing worlds of technology, big business, finance, media, civil society, academia, and security and government agencies, the World Ethical Data Forum offers a unique perspective on the issues surrounding data and data ethics as well as the conceptual tools needed for the creation of an inclusive future.

On March 17th-19th, 2021 the World Ethical Data Forum will host leading experts and audiences from around the globe to engage in crucial discussions on the current and future concerns surrounding a wide range of interrelated issues around data and technology. The forum has already confirmed highly influential speakers and panelists such as Cory Doctorow, a multi-award winning novelist and technology activist; Mikko Hyppönen, global cybersecurity expert; and Anne-Marie Eklund Löwinder, Chief Information Security Officer at the Swedish Internet Foundation.

The Forum and its organizers take pride in remaining neutral, and without agenda, instead simply providing an opportunity for all sides to add to the debate and to ultimately encourage a more ethical, informed, and inclusive world.
