Turkish Petroleum Corporation, also known as Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı (TPAO), was established in 1954 by Law No. 6327. It is responsible for exploring, drilling, producing, refining, and marketing oil and gas in Turkey as the national company. The current CEO is Melih Han Bilgin and the owner is the Turkey Wealth Fund.
