Japan Nuclear Fuel is a company that specializes in uranium enrichment, spent nuclear fuel reprocessing, and temporary storage of nuclear fuel materials and wastes returned from overseas reprocessing plants. It was previously known as Japan Nuclear Fuel Co., Ltd. and started operations in 1967 as a joint venture among General Electric Company (US), Toshiba Corporation, and Hitachi.
