MAV is a company that offers a new catheter device for treating cardiac-disease patients. It was founded by Paul Allen and Burt Rutan to handle commercial spinoffs from the Tier One project. MAV owns the intellectual property from Tier One and is owned by Allen and Rutan's Scaled Aerospace Ventures.
