At YCloset, users were able to enroll for a monthly fee and rent clothes and accessories free of charge. Founded in 2015, the Beijing-based online platform operated in about 40 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. They had partnered with over a hundred fashion brands providing the rental service. The firm announced that it would close down its operations by August 15, 2021.
