Alexandru Gromov People

His birth name was Alexandru Gofman. He begins to collaborate successively with the newspapers Moldova, Literatura si arta, Columna, Noi, etc., pro- motes the correctness oflanguage and terminology on the National Television and theNational Radio, where he has a series of shows, including Inventica and In lumea cuvintelor. For several years he composed collections of science fiction and prose,wrote critical articles on cinema, translated artistic literature from the following lan- guages: French, Italian, English and Russian (without resorting to Russian, Gromovtranslated from the original). The writer was a journalist for many years, publishing news articles and promoting innovative ideas. At the beginning of the 70's of the 20th century, within the Moldova magazine, he founded the Solaris club, where many talented young people studied anticipatory literature: Nicolae Dabija, Leonida Lari, I a n Mânáscurtä, Alexandru Rosu and others. In 1956, the fantastic story Taina Luce- afârului was published, written together with the physicist Tadeus Malinovschi, then the fantastic novels O vacantà in cosmos (1962) and Naufragiu pe Teogra, (1974), the stories Cei din anul inti and Pe urmele lui Argos (1986), the collection of essays and stories A gindi inovational (1987). The writer translated these works himself into Russian. From 1989 to 1995 - the founder and editor-in-chief of the film magazine Lanterna magica, dedicated to Moldovan and world cinema.
