She was born in Soroca in the family of a World War I participant, Leizer Davidovich, who became a bread seller. Her mother, Etl Davidovich, worked in a shoeworkshop. She graduated the high school with a silver medal, as well as the Faculty of Chemistry of the State University of Chisināu.She began her career at the age of 17, engaged in translations of mathematical literature from English, and later in simultaneous translations from Yiddish. From the early 1970s to the early 1990s, she worked at the N. Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry.She also has a degree in higher education, obtained in the second half of the 1980s - polygraphy. In 1992, she came to Eho Moskvy (Echo of Moscow), being the author of the program Neproshedshee vremja (Time that has not passed) - about people and current events. She hosted the show Knizhnoe kazino (Book Casino) -about news in the world of books. She also created the shows Detskaja ploschadka (Children's playground), Titul'nyj list (Title page), Knigi i vokrut (Books and everything around us).Alexander Blok's Silver Medal (2006).
