David Zelvenskiy People

He held the position of political instructor, later graduating the history faculty of Sverdlovsk State University (1959-1963), senior officer courses (1968) and advanced museum courses of the USSR Ministry of Culture (1972).He worked at Tomsk State University (senior researcher) and at the Higher School of Communications of the Tomsk Military Command (1965-1973). He graduated with a master's degree in history from Tomsk State University (1969-1971).He actively participated in the military-patriotic movement in the city and, as a his-torian, published books about the military glory of the people of Sibiu. He wrote in Tomsk four monographs on military symbols and military traditions of the Soviet army of the USSR. He worked as a freelance journalist and correspondent for theregional newspapers Tomsk - Krasnoe znamja and Molodoj leninets. He returned toMoldova in the 1980s, working in Räbnita and Chisinäu. He headed the department of the Museum of Military Glory of Soviet Moldova. He participated again in the military-patriotic movement, organized museum exhibitions with military symbols.He was the editor-in-chief of Rendezvous cultural journal. Since 1994, he has moved to Israel where in 1995 he became the creator and curator of the Energy of Courage museum about the 20th Century Jewish Military in Hadera, Israel. He was decorated vith several military awards from the USA, Russia, Israel, Ukraine.
