The Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) is an organization that promotes and supports the commercial and tourism activities in the emirate of Sharjah. The SCTDA develops these sectors through various events and activities, in addition to showcasing the emirate at local, regional and international levels. The SCTDA highlights the tourism industry as a major contributor to the socio-economic development of the nation. It was established in 1996.
