Description: Psyspys is a national initiative for promoting genomics medicine in Israel, in collaboration with various health organizations and institutions. The project aims to create a national database that combines medical and genetic information for early detection and treatment of diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and stroke. Individuals over the age of 18 who are insured by Clalit Health Services can volunteer to participate by signing a consent form and providing a blood sample for genetic sequencing. The project is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of participants' information and is overseen by the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority and the National Cyber Directorate. Researchers from academia, healthcare, and industry can access the database with approval from the Helsinki Committee of the Ministry of Health and Psyspys. Contact info: N/A.
