Currently serving as the Co-founder, Chair, and CEO of Ryght, Alex leads the development of an enterprise-grade Generative AI platform tailored for life science professionals. Ryght aims to revolutionize document creation, research discovery, revenue growth, and drug development within the healthcare analytics space. Alex's entrepreneurial journey includes founding ChromaCode, a company focused on cancer diagnostics and COVID testing (conducting over 6 million tests). He was also the co-founder of Helixis, later acquired by Illumina, and Luxtera, acquired by Cisco. His board memberships include Gencove, specializing in low-pass sequencing, and PRA Health Sciences, a publicly traded company acquired by ICON. During his seven-year tenure as the Senior Vice President at Illumina, Alex played a key role in leading businesses such as BaseSpace and PopSeq. His illustrious career began in research at Bell Labs, where he co-invented the CMOS fingerprint sensor.
