The Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (CAIM) is a research center that specializes in digitalization and AI for healthcare. It is a partnership between the University of Bern Medical Faculty and Bern University Hospital. The center focuses on identifying new projects that have strong potential to be ground-breaking for future therapeutic and clinical approaches and provides support through funding and resources to competitive, collaborative, bottom-up driven research projects that focus on AI and digitalization with discovery, proof-of-concept or translational objectives.
